STANCE is part of a comprehensive prevention, reentry and enforcement effort to help prevent gang problems across the nation. Our Mission is for kids, parents, teachers, families, state and local leaders, and law enforcement agencies to Stand Together Against Neighborhood Crime Everyday (STANCE).  By standing together, our nation’s youth can grow up in safer communities with less drugs, violence and criminal activity. It’s time for us to take a STANCE and help make the streets a safer place for everyone.

 


 


 

 

 

 

Our objectives are to:

► Reduce gangs, drugs and gun violence in the city of Cleveland

► Encourage children to pursue positive alternatives to gangs

► Inspire parents, teachers, coaches and other mentors to become positive role models for today’s youth

 

By standing together and promoting positive alternatives to gang involvement, we are showing our youth that they have the power to make all their dreams come true. We also allow them to grow up in safer communities with less drugs, gun violence and criminal activity.
