Grades 7 – 9 Mathematics Teachers

Description
The focus of this professional development opportunity is problem-based learning utilizing web 2.0 tools with an emphasis on mathematics instruction. Participants will learn good pedagogical strategies to incorporate learning with technology and create their own problem-based WebQuest aligned to the Ohio Academic Content Standards for Mathematics housed in their own classroom Google site. The target audience is: teachers who teach at least one mathematics course grades 7-9. Each teacher will be required to design and present a WebQuest unit. Participants can purchase 1 semester of college credit from Ashland University.
