Who We Are

The Office of Adult and Continuing Education offers classes of instruction in the areas of GED preparation, basic skills enhancement, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and family literacy for parenting young adults.  We also offer vocational job training programs and workplace education for incumbent workers on and off-site.  Adult Education operates at over 20 locations across the Greater Cleveland area.  Financial aid options are available to assist students with payment of classes.  All GED/ESOL and family literacy classes are free.

Our Mission

The Office of Adult and Continuing Education will provide adults with educational opportunities and support services that enable them to:

  • enter post-secondary education

  • enter Career-Technical Education training

  • enter employment
  • experience job and career advancement
  • establish a better quality of life for themselves and their families.
