Who we are
The CMSD Safe School Team is a partnership between CMSD (students, teachers, Administrators, Security & Gang Officers), Local Law Enforcement Agencies, Local Government, Non profits and community organizations who are committed to keep Cleveland schools, streets, and neighborhoods safe.
The CMSD Safe School Team are committed to
1. PREVENT 2. INTERVENE 3. ENFORCE violence, bullying, and gang activity within our schools
We believe that our effort goes BEYOND the safety and security of our schools, it strives to improve the chances of our students to graduate from high school and prepare for college, to live out their dreams, talents and passions AND to continue to invest in the vitality of our great city by living and working in Cleveland. It takes a commitment by everyone; students, parents, and administrators alike to make our school district a Center for Safe Youth.
