PEAC
The PEAC program began in 2007 as collaboration between the Cleveland Teachers Union and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Its goal is to promote teacher quality while improving the academic performance of students.
PEAC is funded through a five year, $20 million Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) grant from the Ohio Department of Education and the US Department of Education.
PEAC is governed by the PEAC Governing Board, whose members are appointed by the President of the Cleveland Teachers Union and the CEO of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
PEAC is divided into three parts.
