Depth of Intervention Recommendation:  Repurpose, Build 9th grade academy, with 2-3 upper innovative academies building over time, eg.  Facing History, World language, Negotiated curriculum program.

 

Newcomers (9-12) program moves to Thomas Jefferson.

 

Rationale:

  • Consistently underperforming academically.

  • Capital investment upgrades facility to prepare for growth of innovative academies.

  • World language and Facing History academies meet needs of diverse international community.
