  • Current enrollment is 1,383 students

  • Current plan is for a new $30,000,000 high school for 1150 students provided enrollment holds.  Design and construction would occur during 2011 and 2013.

 

Transformation Plan - January 2010

Depth of Intervention Recommendation:  Repurpose, Move Ginn boys academy to Glenville, prepare to support more students.  Create Glenville girls academy.  Will prioritize capital dollars to prepare facility.

Rationale:

  • Consistently underperforming academically.

  • Using successful Ginn program to improve climate for learning.

  • Gender separation helps create a new culture.
