  • New School will be sized for 574 students

  • Could be a junior high school if grade configuration changes

  • New school is being built approximately 30 blocks east of the old Willson to serve a large population that has not had a neighborhood school

  • District has purchased 67 parcels to construct the new school

Opens with CMSD Deaf Education Program, relocated from AG Bell.

 

Rationale:

  • Serves Citywide deaf and/or hard of hearing students, in addition to serving as a core K8 neighborhood school
