TITLE I FAMILY LIAISONS

Title I Family Liaisons provide a unique array of services for our schools, and families under the direction of the building principal. Family Liaisons work with the principal and parents to develop literacy-based parent engagement programs and activities to be utilized at the school, in the home and throughout the community. Some of the services that the family liaisons provide are: assisting the principal and SPO in planning the school's parent involvement program as indicated in the Academic Achievement Plan; assisting the principal in compiling and updating the School/Parent Compact according to the Federal and State mandates; sharing resources and information from meetings, professional development sessions provided by FACE and conferences with parents and staff; and assisting in the implementation of The National Network of Partnership Schools model for parental involvement.
